The concept was modeled specifically for the top-tier cruise ship industry clients that they serve by incorporating an all-electric equipment kitchen just like the actual kitchens they would find on the open seas. Zia built sleek, clean and stellar cooklines as well as a pastry station with three (3) hoods, a professional drink bar, restrooms, staff showers, floor drains and seventeen (17) floor sinks/drains made of custom stainless steel. All this construction activity was performed on the 3rd floor, with two active floors beneath. Utilizing heavy cranes five(5x) times and countless boom truck deliveries along with limited parking and limited access to install the utilities added to the complexity and challenge of the work process which Zia met on time, and within budget. This project is reflective of the benefits brought about by the synergy of significant general contractor knowledge and the use of professional services of a private provider and 3rd party plan review and inspection service.
